Don

Born in Canton,China in the
1920s, Don was raised and educated in Saigon and came to
the United States as a Vietnamese boat refugee in the late
1970s. His uniquely Chinese style of photography focuses
on traditional motifs and combines several negatives to produce
an Asian concept of landscape and perspective. His work has
won scores of international awards and is included in hundreds
of personal and corporate collections worldwide. Don passed
away in San Francisco in 2004 but original prints of many
images are still available.
