Robin
Schwartz |
 |
|
Robin Schwartz’s photographs
of her daughter Amelia transcend our traditional notions
of pictures of children and animals. Ms Schwartz presents
a series of images that capture a fantasy world of exotic
animals, through which the young Amelia walks with a studied
nonchalance. Schwartz’s work has been much published
and exhibited. Her two previous books are Like Us: Primate Portraits (1993)
about people and their pet primates, and Dog
Watching (1995). “My
Amelia Project” is soon to be a monograph published
by Aperture. Her work can be found in many private
and corporate collections including the Museum of Modern
Art, the Metropolitan Museum, and the Brooklyn Museum.

Richard
Ehrlich |
 |
|
Richard Ehrlich has photographed
the fascinating and beautiful abandoned mines and workers
houses in the diamond-rich costal areas of Namibia, sandwiched
between Africa’s Kalahari and Namib deserts. His work
captures the dramatic colors, shapes and patterns of the
shifting sands of landscape as well as the dunes of sand
that have now taken over the old wall-papered homes.
Print sizes vary but are usually 36x44 inches. Prices
on request.
